For self-employed

The above plus a valid trade licence, company bank statements, and either audited accounts or management accounts covering the last two years.

Passport, proof of overseas address, six months of home-country bank statements, and evidence of source of funds for the account activity.

Frequently Asked Questions

For a well-prepared personal or salary account with complete documentation, approval commonly comes through in three to ten working days. Corporate accounts take longer, typically three to six weeks, because of the additional compliance review.

Several banks now support a largely digital journey for residents, using Emirates ID verification and video onboarding. Certain account types and most corporate accounts still require an in-person meeting.

There is no universal minimum, though most banks set a floor somewhere between AED 5,000 and AED 10,000 a month for their standard salary products. Premium tiers are higher. We match you to the bank whose threshold your package actually clears.

The usual reasons are an incomplete document set, a mismatch between the declared business activity and the licence, unclear source of funds, or being submitted to a bank whose current risk appetite does not fit the profile. Re-pitching properly to the right bank usually resolves it.

Yes. Newly incorporated companies need a tighter package — licence, MOA, establishment card, shareholder documents and a clear business rationale. We prepare all of it and introduce you to banks currently onboarding new entities.
